On 4-24-2010 at about 1800hrs Companies 06 (Collindale Fire Co.1) and 42 (Collingdale Fire Co.2) were dispatched to 200 blk of Collingdale Ave, behind Hanly Oil, for a vehicle fire. 06-1 arrived first, under the command of Chief McCann (06-9), and reported a shed and semi tractor-trailer well involved. 06-1 dropped a 5 inch supply line and on 42-1's arrival, under the Command of Captain Benson (42-12), they assisted with the hydrant and getting a second line in service from 06-1. Crews worked for just over an hour and a half  to bring the fire under control. Great job to all on location.
