On Saturday March 20, 2010 family and friends came together to celebrate Collingdale Volunteer Fire Company #2 and it's 93 years of service with the annual Awards and Installation Banquet. Honored guests on hand included company chaplains Rev. Perry Messick and Father Mike Davis, State Representative Nick Miccarelli, Collingdale Borough Council President Kate Munro, Chief of Police Robert Adams, Fire Marshal George Kaiser, and Collingdale Fire Company #1 Chief Colin McCann and President Stynor Carter.

Dinner and dancing was enjoyed by all, but the awards and installation of company officers took center stage. Council President Kate Munro presented a letter of Commendation on behalf of Congressman Joseph Sestak to the company and swore in the executive and line officers of 2010. Chief John (JT) Moors held the honor of Master of Ceremonies and engaged the crowd with an outstanding description of the year's events in "The Big Picture." Past President Pat McKeon was on hand to bestow the annual President's award as well as a very special Honorary Life Membership. Chuck Nichols Jr. was honored for 60 plus years of service and Director Marlene Holter received a special recognition award for her years of service as company treasurer.

A special thanks goes out to the banquet committee!!! A good time was had by all in attendance well into the night and we look forward to the 94th and one less year to the company Centennial!!!
